It allows you to record information from hive <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">inspections<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"> in your apiary, information about <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">harvests<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">, <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">sales<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">, and <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">purchases<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">, as well as any <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">notes<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\"> that can be used as tasks to perform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The app is free to download and use. It is fully functional, with no restrictions, and information can be entered manually in a simple, intuitive way, minimizing the number of clicks. Editing fields can also be completed by voice, using available smartphone features.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>All entries can be edited and deleted in the app. You can also export all data to the cloud (an online data server). This creates a backup copy in case of data loss on your smartphone.<\/p>\n<p>The notebook is designed primarily for box hives. By default, boxes hold 10 frames, but this can be adjusted individually for each hive. Apiaries, hives, boxes, and frames are distinguished by their number. The <b>apiary and hive numbers<\/b> are assigned by the beekeeper when adding a hive to the apiary. This method allows for the creation of any number of apiaries with any number of hives. The frames and frames have default numbers. The <b>body<\/b> on the bottom is <b>numbered 1<\/b>, while the others on top are assigned sequential numbers. Therefore, the body number determines its current position in the hive. The same applies to frames. <b>Frame number 1<\/b> is the first frame on the left side of the hive. Select the hive type and type from the drop-down lists. The next field contains 10 \u2013 the default number of frames that can fit in the body. This number should be changed to reflect the actual size.<\/p><p>After saving the default settings, <b>apiary no. 1 <\/b>will be created, containing one <b>hive numbered 1<\/b>. You can immediately create more hives by entering the desired number in the &#8222;Number of Hives&#8221; field. In this case, the hive number will be the number of the first hive created, and the remaining hives will receive sequential numbers. The hive type and frame count will be identical in this created group of hives.<\/p><p>Create the required number of apiaries and hives in the same way.<\/p><p>In addition to adding hives and apiaries, you can <b>move<\/b> or <b>delete<\/b> a hive here. For each hive, general information about the most recently entered hive data is displayed. This information can be changed using the &#8222;eye&#8221; icon at the top of the screen. This information can include:<\/p><ol><li>data about the hive&#8217;s resources from the <b>last frame inspection<\/b>, along with <b>information about the queen bee<\/b> in that hive,<\/li><li>information about the <b>last feeding<\/b> or the <b>amount of varroa<\/b> collected after the <b>last treatment<\/b>,<\/li><li>the amount of honey collected during the <b>last honey harvest<\/b>.<\/li><\/ol><p>You can also view a <b>report on the honey and pollen harvest<\/b>, or a <b>report on the varroa fall<\/b>, for the entire year in individual hives.<\/p><p>Under each recent hive information item, you&#8217;ll find all the detailed information entered by the beekeeper. It&#8217;s divided into seven categories:<\/p><ol><li>Frame Inspection<\/li><li><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">Equipment<\/span><\/li><li>Family<\/li><li>Queen<\/li><li>Harvest<\/li><li>Feeding<\/li><li>Treatment<\/li><\/ol><div><div>Swiping the hive bar from right to left takes you to a screen containing the most important, recent information about the hive. Notes and scheduled tasks for that hive are also visible here. You can also access this screen by reading the <b>NFC tag<\/b>, which must be previously assigned to the hive.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>At the top of the screen, you&#8217;ll find <b>weather information<\/b> for the apiary \u2013 cloud cover and temperature. Clicking the weather icon takes you to a detailed 5-day weather forecast. To display weather information, enter the apiary&#8217;s location (the icon next to the temperature). It&#8217;s best to select the location on the map \u2013 the geographic coordinates will then be filled in automatically. You can also specify the location by entering the name of the town or city. This name will later be displayed as the apiary&#8217;s name.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-2694\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"tab\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2694\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" href=\"\">Frame inspection<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2694\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2694\"><p>During inspections can be recorded information about the percentage of the frame occupied by <b>drone<\/b> brood, covered <b>brood<\/b>, <b>larvae<\/b>, <b>eggs<\/b>, <b>pollen<\/b>, <b>honey<\/b> in the dotting phase, <b>seald<\/b> honey, honey <b>wax<\/b> and wax <b>comb<\/b> honey can be recorded. The value provided can be for the <b>left<\/b> side of the frame, the <b>right<\/b> side of the frame, or <b>both<\/b> sides. The frame page can be specified as a stand-alone command or together with resource information. Information about the frame side should be provided only if we want to set a different one.<\/p><p>Additionally, you can save information about the presence of the <b>queen<\/b> on the frame and one of the five <b>colors<\/b> of its marking, the number of <b>queen cells<\/b> left during the inspection and the number of <b>queen cells removed<\/b>.<\/p><p>You can also specify what activities need <b>to do<\/b> on the frame and what activities have <b>been done<\/b>. In the group of activities to be done, which are visible in the drawing of the hive in the form of graphic symbols above the frames, there is a <b>work frame<\/b> indicating its purpose, <b>to extraction<\/b>, <b>to delete<\/b> and <b>to insulate<\/b>, which means that the content of the frame allows it to be used to insulate the queen placed in the hive. In the group of activities already performed, which are visible in the drawing of the hive in the form of graphic symbols under the frames, it is <b>delete<\/b> the frame if it was removed during the inspection, <b>insert<\/b> the frame if it was inserted, <b>insulation<\/b> if it was placed in the insulator, <b>move<\/b> it to the <b>left<\/b> or <b>move<\/b> it to the <b>right <\/b>if it was moved to another pleace in hive.<\/p><p>The overview can be supplemented with a <b>note<\/b> or <b>photo<\/b> taken on the fly or added from the gallery. If the family is gone, you can say that they <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">is dead<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">. The normal state of the colony is the motor activity of all the bees, which can be described as the fact that the colony is <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">ok<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">. She can be, in <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">swarming mood<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">,\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">aggressive\u00a0<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">or on the contrary &#8211; <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">gentle<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">. In winter, it is most often <\/span><b style=\"font-style: inherit;\">in a cluster<\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;\">.<\/span><\/p><p>The second feature of the bee family is its strength. A family can be <b>very weak<\/b>, <b>weak<\/b>, <b>strong<\/b>, <b>very strong<\/b> or <b>normal\u00a0<\/b>that is, without any obvious signs of strength or weakness.<\/p><p>You can also note the number of <b>dead bees<\/b>, for example after wintering.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-2697\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"7\" role=\"tab\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2697\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-minus\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" href=\"\">Queen<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2697\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"7\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2697\"><p>The first step in this category is to <b>register your queen<\/b>. Registration requires providing the date and method of acquisition, breed, line, and optionally, her identification. Only after registering can a queen bee be &#8222;connected&#8221; to the hive. At any time, you can &#8222;disconnect&#8221; a queen from the hive or edit her details. All of the above-described actions are available in <b>QUEEN MANAGEMENT<\/b>.<\/p><p><b>You can also access MOTHERS MANAGEMENT from the start (main) screen of the application.<\/b><\/p><p>Detailed information about the queen includes her <b>restriction<\/b>, i.e., how she is currently placed in the hive, her <b>quality<\/b>, the method of <b>insemination<\/b>, her <b>marking<\/b> (or if the queen is not present), and her <b>year of birth<\/b>.<\/p><p>A &#8222;<b>free<\/b>&#8221; designation indicates that the queen has no restrictions. Confinement, however, can be confined to <b>an isolator<\/b>, placed in a <b>cage<\/b>, or <b>isolated<\/b>, for example, in a Chmara isolator.<\/p><p>Another characteristic of the queen is her <b>quality<\/b>. A queen can be <b>very good<\/b>, <b>good<\/b>, <b>large<\/b>, <b>ok<\/b>, <b>poor<\/b> (e.g., damaged), <b>small<\/b>, <b>weak<\/b>, or <b>old<\/b>, meaning she should be removed.<\/p><p>The following characteristics determine the queen&#8217;s insemination: <b>uninseminated<\/b>, <b>inseminated<\/b>, or <b>naturally inseminated<\/b>.<\/p><p>The fact that the <b>queen is not present<\/b> in the hive can be recorded with this command or that the <b>queen is missing<\/b>. If identified, it can be described as <b>unmarked<\/b>, meaning she has not been marked.
